They just recently decided to get cable, though I'm not sure what drove them to the decision. We do watch Lost, Dr. Who, and Torchwood (BBC America) so I can't say we're completely unaffected by popular shows. Mostly though, dh watches The History Channel or bad science fiction on Sci-Fi. I hardly watch tv. We have a local friend who did that for years. They just recently decided to get cable, though I’m not sure what drove them to the decision.
